I want to help you – the busy Networker – learn how to integrate blogging, social media, and internet marketing into your business building strategy in a way that helps you get results and is easy to maintain – even when you’re on the go.
Back in the 1980s I worked for a direct marketing company. I started creating websites in 1996 and worked as Senior Web Developer and consultant for several dotcoms. I also had my own freelance web design business helping small to medium sized businesses get online and integrate the “World Wide Web” into their local marketing plan.
In 2002 I discovered affiliate marketing almost by accident, and for several years made a very comfortable living working in my PJ’s. Literally.
Back then it was easy to get in front of the right people because the noise level was so much lower. Then things changed, as they always do when technology is part of the equation.
These days I do a mix of web development, affiliate marketing, consulting, network marketing, and teaching. I thoroughly enjoy it.
In some respects, internet marketing is not as easy as it used to be, but it’s still possible to carve out a nice niche for yourself online if you are willing to learn a few new skills and add a few new tools to your belt. Paradoxically, that’s much easier than it may sound.
The great thing about the current state of the technology is that it’s possible for anyone to market themselves effectively without having to be a tech genius or spend 16 hours a day in front of the computer.
So don’t be intimidated. It’s accessible to anyone.
